I've seen so many people selling and buying steel plates for alching, but what is the profit of it?

 

Steel plates take 5bars to make and steel bars are 650ea averagely which is 3250.

 

If u alch a plate u get... was it 1200? or 1600? but u dont get a profit.

 

How are people making money like this?

It's not about the profit, it's a bout the exp:

 

the people alching them break even, the people selling them get fast and no to expensive smith exp. (and are to lazy to alch them theirselves)

Who told you that? There's no way you can make a profit by buying steel bars, only if you mine the ores. And people who alch steel plates make a profit only by buying plates for 899 gp or less, or by making nats...

yea the people who alch the pl8s buy the pl8s not the bars and male.
