This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
BlueLancer
Using wireless isn't a good idea for online gaming anyways, *especially* if you play FPS games.. Be it on PC or Xbox 360. Your latency ("ping") will be sky high and you'll experience significant lag by using Wi-Fi/wlan for online gaming.

I ran with wireless for about 3 years and, aside from random dropouts that annoyed the piss out of me, it actually ran quite smoothly. It depends what kind of wireless router/adapter you get really. Also, likewise, I use wireless for my 360 and the times I've gone online its been ok. That being said though I never went online much at all. Still, if by all means possible you can hook it up wired -- do it. Wireless is just an option if you don't have any means to do so.
Bballchamp23
My friend uses the wireless thing, and he says it really isn't worth it the $100 unless you absolutely can't connect with wires. Personally, I use wires for my original X-Box and if you arrange the wires right nobody even knows their there (although theres a hole in my floor from where the wire leads into the basement in case I ever move my TV #-o ).
