Drowning

Drowning

you are patient at the water

waiting for a healing word

to ease the burden.

maybe an apology in a bottle

maybe a flare that says "I'm Sorry"

numbness kicks in from hurt and cold

your thoughts and feelings

are obliterated.

maybe a world under the surface

maybe your heart beats there, alone.

you are patient at the water

waiting for someone to take your hand

and to lift you up.

maybe a stranger you've seen before

maybe a friend you've never seen

to lead you

to help you

swim to the top.

Good message but its free verse so there is not alot from the poetical side of things. Its not long so there is no alot I can write from the Story point of view...It good but nothing spectacular.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
