So, I recently bought the game and have had a great time playing campaign mode but, when I tried to play online I got as far as loading the map and the spawn points appear then the machine makes a weird noise "dun dun" and I exit the game completely.

 

I have looked through the manual and I think I have done what I was supposed to.

 

It runs through Game Spy if that helps.
