November 26, 200718 yr [hide]ok.. so every single time I boot up my PC chkdsk runs to check my secondary hard drive for integrity. I have no idea why it does this because I havent told it to, and I havent changed any of my PC's settings in weeks..and it only started happening 2 or 3 days ago. Is there any way to make it stop?[/hide] ok.. so i fixed my previous problem. but alas I have another one. Truevectorservice (which i think is connected to zonealarm) keeps crashing randomly and I have no idea why. Any reasons why it can crash? I've scanned for any malware but my PC is clean.
November 26, 200718 yr Well this doesn't seem to be that uncommon of a problem. I did a Google search for it and found 3 or 4 different solutions. I'm not sure which will work for you so here's a link to the search: chkdsk runs at startup. The solutions that I saw were in the first 3 search results.
November 27, 200718 yr Truevector has been known not to play well with certain peer-to-peer applications, particularly uTorrent. That being the case I wouldn't be surprised if other types of programs also caused the service to crash, so it may be worth testing your stability with various programs not running to narrow down the cause.
