Simple question

I am 44 so all you teenagers can deride me for being a noob, and a useless old guy, as you answer this one.....

I can't figure out how to make a little quote box, and put inside it the quote from a post. Please explain? I would like to be able to reply to your post with the quote box.

Thanx

Nope you can still quote.

You can do this either by clicking the "quote" button next to someone's post, or by typing in the code yourself.

For a quote without an author, the code is

[quote]To be or not to be, that is the question.[/quote]

And that will appear like this:

To be or not to be, that is the question.

But this looks kinda ugly, and it's much neater to mention who made the quote, eg:

[quote name="Neil Armstrong"]One small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind[/quote]

And that will produce this:

One small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind

:)

Because you posted on tech and comps ;) All the flamers are burning up general and offtopic.

It's always good to be able to help someone out. If you have any other questions about BBCode, visit the BBCode FAQ :)
