I'm trying to make a pure for PKing. I want it to be pure melee. Anyone got any tips?

Most effective pures are rune pures. I think it would be better to stay at 1 defense until 40 ish combat then start raising defense, unless you will be training for a long time before actually pking (defense at that level is useless).
