No SLAYER exp if target is killed by poison?

Featured Replies

According to a wiki Runescape page, should you poison a slayer monster that you have been assigned and the poison deals the last damage to it and kills it, you will not get the slayer exp for killing the monster, since it died from poison:

It should be noted that when using poisoned weapons on an assignment, if the poison is what causes the kill, then the player will not receive any slayer xp for that kill.

Could anybody confirm whether this is true, since sometimes the information in wikis aren't all that truthful...

Thank you!

i dont think so. if you are the one that poisons it.

"We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture."

Well I leveled to 78 slayer when I poison killed a kalphite guardian(on purpose)

As long as u deal damage to it and it dies due to poison you still get the kill.

on my last black dragon task i used emerald bolts (e) and im sure the poison did the last hit on at least one of them - i still had exactly the same amount of d hides in my inventory as i had dragons assigned when i finished it

I think it works just like the pking thing, whoever hits the most damamge gets the kll. If poison does most damage then you dont get xp if u do then u get it

Sorry got bad grammer had to really rush it lol.
