zorin1477 Posted April 30, 2005 Share Posted April 30, 2005 well i saw that post about a faster firefox... i listened to the site and did wat it sed... well i did my weekly virus scan... theres like 2 trojans on my computer in the firefox spot... so i remove firefox.. and scan again.. ALL GONE... so i suggest you leave firefox the way it is and not try to speed it up... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hulk12 Posted April 30, 2005 Share Posted April 30, 2005 Chances are you are not getting these through the firefox speed up simply because your not changing anything except a few values, nothing that can make you more pron to attacks. Can you remember the exact location and name of the trojans? I've had a look around but can't seem to find anything. I'm sure there'd be plenty of info since Firefox is supposed to be so secure and all. If you are referring to the program I mentioned above, well I guess you should've followed the advice of Hannibal and I in that thread.
