i have 2 hard drives 1 is my windows xp os is on, but i want to format my other one and password protect it so u have to have the password to acsess that certain hard drive, is this possible and if so how?

To have any kind of secure harddrive, you will need to encrypt it. For example, use TrueCrypt.
