With the recent loss of players, many members and f2p alike have quit the game. Jagax will realize this and try to offer new stuff to keep players, and get new ones. People playing f2p are important to jagax since that is where the majoritly of members come from. Less f2p=less future members.

Maybe this is why they have been giving the duel arena, capes, and more bank space for f2p now.
