Question about Berserkers on RSOF

So...unless I'm crazy, berserker necklaces are 2.8-3.1m, right?

 

 

 

There's these "phantom posters" on rsof who keep posting advertising selling them as low as 2.3-2.4, but they're never online. I know this because I've been trying to buy one for a day or two now and I've seen (and added) at least 4 people selling in the same range.

 

 

 

At first I thought I was being paranoid, but now I really think it's because they're trying to "shock" owners into thinking the price has dropped causing them to start selling closer to that number and drop the price overall. Or in the hopes they can catch the one or two who shouts they're selling one for 2.6 in seers.

 

 

 

Anyone know if that's what's going on? Or have they really dropped by half a mil over night, lol.

i don't know prices, but yes lots of people post with no intention of ever selling or buying, it's price manipulation, it's against the rules, and it happens a lot on the forums.
