If I understand this correctly, anyone withing melee range will be torn apart by dart-speed attacks that are extremely accurate and powerful. And anyone not in melee range will be hit by incredibly powerful and accurate magic attacks. So, basically you're screwed no matter where you are. But I got this idea, Why not have a guy on your team use ancient magick ice spells? Or possibly entangle.

I don't know...But probably because boss monsters tend to have a very high magic defense

Well, I know that blitz is level 82 and entangle is level 79, so with 99 mage and a good mage bonus they are pretty hard to avoid. Snare is, what, level 50? That seems very accurate but it's only 10 seconds...

If you've ever seen a video of someone ice barraging any boss monster(jad is most common of them) you splash 9/10 times. Worth a try with zilyana though.

Ice Barrage is the single most inaccurate spell in the game though. Thats why I think ice blitz/entangle/snare would have better results. I don't have 70 agility nor 99 magic to try it with though.

Imo Commander Zilyana is the hardest boss compared to others. Yes freezing her does work but either way unless your with like a 5+ person team then you would get owned by the other generals. Not to mention it would cost tons of money.

 

 

 

I have tried her in a duo, both tanked melee and mage praying, and she still was barely 1\2ed by the time we were out of supplies.

70 agility, 99 mage, has plenty of experience... I've got my answer. Mods can close or leave this open for discussion.
