WWE Armageddon~My predictions

We are just a few hours away from WWE Armageddon and these are my predictions, so lets get into it!

 

 

 

United States Championship-MVP VS Rey Mysterio

 

Now I'm a pretty big fan of both these guys and have been watching both of them for a long time. Rey Mysterio hasn't held gold since The Great American Bash 2006, which was almost 18 months ago. MVP won the United States Championship back in May from Chris Benoit (R.I.P) and has been enjoying a lot of success in his 7 month reign as champion. Although I would like to see Rey win, I think they'll keep the belt on MVP and have him drop it to Matt Hardy when he returns.

 

 

 

Womens Championship~Mickie James VS Beth Pheonix

 

This is actually quite a tough match to call, as I don't follow the womens division except for maybe the non-wrestling matches :lol: , so i dont know too much about this match. Beth Pheonix is very powerful, but Mickie James is a 3-time Womens Champion. But for this one, I'm gonna put my money on Beth Pheonis to retain.

 

 

 

Finlay VS the Great Khali

 

Now, I really HATE the Great Khali, not because he's a heel, but because his move set consists of a chop, a boot and a fist. And when your most athletic move is squishing someones head, you know you're in trouble. This match is another tough one to call, as everyone thinks Khali will win, but as we've seen over the weeks, the whole idea of Khai matches is for someone to come and save the day, (Finlay, Hulk Hogan etc.). So for this one, I'm gonna say that Khali will win, by disqualification or pin.

 

 

 

Shawn Michaels VS Mr. Kennedy

 

Now, as you can tell by my name, I am a Shawn Michaels fan. He's done a lot for the WWE, but they seemed to foget to put him in a match on Raw XV? Anyway, Kennedy is looking to get a big victory over the Showstopper, but i think the Heartbreak Kid is going to hang up is boots for good soon, they it would be good for him to go out on a few wins. HBK FTW!

 

 

 

ECW Champion CM Punk & Kane VS Big Daddy V & Mark Henry

 

Firstly, Big Daddy V and Mark Henry are two mammoth men. They've obliterated Kane and CM Punk on more than one occasion. Kanes dealt some back out, but not as much as they've delivered to him and the ECW Champion. I'm gonna back the 1-Tonne Titty Team to take down the Big Red Machine and the Champion, as I think they're are going to give Big Daddy V another title shot sometime soon, so a victory over the Champion at Armageddon would be perfect.

 

 

 

Winner gets a WWE title shot at the Royal Rumble~Triple H VS Jeff Hardy

 

Just like in the United States Championship match, Triple H and Jeff Hardy are two of my favourites. Over the past couple of weeks on Raw, we've seen Jeff Hardy compete in a ladder match against Carlito, an Intercontinental Championship match against Snitsky, and a tag team match with Triple H against Umaga and Snitsky, and in all those matches The Game has ran in and saved the Rainbow-haired Warrior. On WWE.com all the articles have been speculating if the Game is going soft. I think after all the ability and potential Jeff Hardy has, he's long overdue for a WWE Championship match. So, Jeff Hardy, get prepared to meet Mr. Orton at th Royal Rumble.

 

 

 

World Heavyweight Championship~Edge VS Undertaker VS Batista

 

I'm not as conflicted as I was in a few past matches, even though Edge and Undertake are 2 more of my favourites. I have no doubt in my mind that Edge is going to walk away with the World Heavyweight championship around his waist before Armageddon is over. He was being groomed to become the big main event Smackdown! star after Boretista was finally done with all his title shots. But after he was injured, they out the tiel on the Great Khali and then Batista. I think Batistas just been holding the title for Edge, who will make his triumphant return to Championship gold at Armageddon.

 

 

 

WWE Championship~Randy Orton VS Chris Jericho

 

I don't know what it is, but too many of these matches are between two of my favourites. As I know many people were, I was ecstaric when Raw became Jericho again. But I don't think the WWE Championship is Jericho just yet. Randy Orton's title reign was building up for a long-time, and I for one expect him to hold onto it until at least the Royal Rumble. But I think Y2J will take home the win by disqualification.

Despite how much I hate Finlay (and Hornswaggle), I would love to see him beat Khali after Summer Slam. He saw that he might lose his title so he has to cheat in order to keep it.

 

 

 

Talking of Summer Slam, Kane vs Finlay was quite an amusing match.

 

 

 

Anyway back on Topic.

 

 

 

I agree with you on Beth Pheniox winning, she is a pretty powerful wrestler.
