That all depends on the school you're going to for it. Find some university you're interested in and look it up on their website.

I'm in EE at the University of Illinois..

It's a pretty high ranking school as far as ECE goes, so the curriculum is pretty heavy... Pretty much have to take Math all through Junior year, 4 semesters of Physics, 2 semesters of Chemistry, and the rest is just straight Engineering classes.

So yeah.. lots of Engineering classes.

in general, the same subjects are covered. there are only a few technicalitys otherwise all students who graduate wouldn't be generally skilled in the subject.

what the hell do u use chemistry for in electronics? as physics is more my forte i can see how physics has everything to do with electronics, but chemistry...(?)

Our school requires it for Engineering Majors. We're required to take a Western, Non-Western, 2 Social Science, and a Natural Science class (besides the required freshman classes). So I guess instead of the second semester of chemistry, you could take Biology? (Blech!)

im thinking much the same thing (unless i misinterpret, in which case forget it).

kinda dumb idea. i think i can partially see how chem builts on physical-chem which would b more relevant. but still...
