WHAT IS MERCHANTING?

 

 

 

Well what merchanitng used to be, was buying items for a low price, then selling them for a higher price. People who did this were called merchers. It is a method that was used to get rich quick. By buying and selling in bulk players tended to get more money. Which is why it was so popular. This method was going great until...the grand exchange happened. Ever since then, people could just go and buy the items they wanted from the grand exchange, rather than getting it from the mercher which was selling it higher than what the grand exchange was selling it for. Yes it was a sad day. Many people quit. Another thing was the pking incident. But im about to bring back merching.

 

 

 

NEW WAYS TO BE A MERCHANTER

 

 

 

OK. The new way focuses around a merchers worst enemy, the Grand Exchange. Heres the newest ways to do it.

 

 

 

1. Buy minimum price-sell maximum price. But with Grand Exhcange

 

 

 

The way you do this is you pick an item, you buy it for minimum price, then turn around and resell it for the maximum price. I dont recomend this for nobody really sells for low prices or buys for highest. But i have had some profit off of this.

 

 

 

2. My PErsonal FAV

 

 

 

Alright, you OFFER to buy 1k yews from the grand exchange at a custom OFFER of 400 gp per log. U PAY 400k! But wait! At your collection window you have 1k yews plusÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæwhats this? 9k is in your collection window. What happened??? The fact is, is that you bought from a player that was selling for 391 gp ea. U spent 400k!!! So u get 9k back. NOW WHAT DO YOU DO? Sell for 400- max price DUHHH!!!!! U gain 9k!! Do this with everything!!!!

 

 

 

3. The guy that doesnt bother to use the grand exchange method.

 

 

 

OK you are in world 1. There is a guy that is buying a guthix full helm 240k!!!! WAIT? u got yours for 220k at the grand exchange. Why doesnt he get his at the grand exchange? U dont know. He probably doesnt want to waste the time. Or he is impatient and doesnt want to wait on the grand exchange. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. Trade him. U just got 20k extra!! NOw wat? Go buy your guthix helm from the grand exchange. But be patient. U just gained 20k!!! U can go and sell that one for 240k now.... hehehe 20k each trip. Just be patient...thats what merching is about.

 

 

 

4.The team cape method

 

 

 

U can buy team capes for 50gp ea and resell for 500-1k ea!!! just putting that out there.

You could REALLY work on your guide. First of all run spellcheck, your grammar is killing my eyes! Add some colour, heading, titles and for god's sake don't TyPE LIkE THIS!!! Also pictures would really help.

 

 

 

Also If you buy yew logs for 400 ea and someone is ALLREADY selling for 391 then you'll never be able to sell yours for more then 391, not speaking of 417 (or whatever the max price is)

 

 

 

Your guthix helmet method is a reallly slow method of making money, you can make like may be 50k an hour. There are better ctivities then this.

 

 

 

But I'm guessing this is your first guide so I'll give it 6/10!

Profit per hour? Uhm 30k?
