Agility Guide Dorgesh Kaan corrections

Recommended Posts

Earlier I posted about the Agility calculator, now I saw that the Agility Guide has the same problem (which - I'm happy - is now fixed in the calculator).

The "wrong" text in the XP table:

Complete Lap (No Grapple) 159 Agility

Complete Lap (With Grapple) 54 Agility

54 Ranged and 54 Strength

Lap Bonus (No Grapple) 1,216 Agility

Lap Bonus (With Grapple) 571 Ranged

As I said before, it's not possible to get any bonus if you go one way. You need to go to the generator and back to get the bonus. So a lap isn't complete until it's two-way.

My text suggestion would be like this:

No Grapple both ways:

Complete Lap 318 Agility

Lap Bonus 2,432 Agility

Lap Total 2,750 Agility

With Grapple both ways:

Complete Lap 108 Agility, 108 Ranged and 108 Strength

Lap Bonus 1,142 Ranged

Lap Total 108 Agility, 1,250 Ranged and 108 Strength

No Grapple one way, With Grapple the other way:

Complete Lap 213 Agility, 54 Ranged and 54 Strength

Lap Bonus 1,216 Agility and 571 Ranged

Lap Total 1,429 Agility, 625 Ranged and 54 Strength

Sorry we didn't respond sooner, but as you can imagine RL also comes into it. ;)

Oddly enough, I'd just tested out the Dorgesh-Kaan agility course with the intention of explaining it better, since the guide info is quite unclear.

As you've stated, you can go 1 side there and back, the other side there and back, or go round the course in either direction.

However, the bonuses only apply if you get the generator part. Obviously any sane person would do that, but ... heh heh.

The info arrangement you've posted looks good, so we will try to get that edited in as time permits. Please be patient - not many people use this course and there are many other urgent concerns right now (treasure trails in the wilderness is one example.)

Thanks for posting to help us improve the guides and calculators, it's very much appreciated!

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
