I recently changed my icons using a Stardock Program (IconPackager) and I removed it later and the icons of course went with it. I had icons configured for most files and now I have annoying files with no icons.

 

 

 

Is there a way I can restore all my icons without having to individually reset each file extension.

Is it possible that you could reinstall the program? If so, there's an option to reset all of your icons to the Windows defaults.

Or (in xp) you can download tweak ui (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx, and clicking on the very last menu option (repair) gives you the option to rebuild icons.
