Goldenjkered Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 Well considering the Grand Exchange is bringing down prices, I've been thinking that the gravestone update, may have been brought in to put prices up or at least keep them balanced. Basically, this is the case because when someone dies now, lets say when someone dies at barrows, then someone can no longer pick up their items, as a gravestone appears, and even after the max of 5 mins passes, anything over 3k in value does not show up. Of course, I know that the main reason for these updates was to stop RWT, but I think it may be to do with prices to. DarkDude Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 If anything, it's now EASIER to get back and get your things, at barrows I'm sure it won't be 5 minutes before someone walks past and sees it and they'll most likely bless it or just repair it for you. There is no other reason for this update other than to stop being getting killed on purpose with a lot of gold on them as a way of transferring gold from person to person, a way which before was completely undetectable as far as I'm aware. You've got a point there, but places like barrows, dk, kbd are not exactly easy to get back to in time, and unless your with a friend the grave isn't going to last in time. DarkDude Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 But people tend to DK and KBD etc. with friends, all it needs is one of them to bless it and that gives you 60 minutes to get back there, no where in the game takes that long to get, not even GWD boss rooms. You can probably get back to KBD in 5 minutes anyway, barrows would be pushing it but I'm sure unless you go on the most empty world when the servers are empty-ishh anyway that someone else will be there, and the chances are they'll see your grave and either repair it - renewing it to 5 minutes, or bless it giving you an hour to get back.
