The Knowledge Base claims Evil Bob may give fishing experience even if you weren't fishing. Has anyone ever received fishing experience from the random event doing something other than fishing?

 

 

 

Is there any way to get off the island without receiving the fishing experience?

I was fletching once and evil bob took me to the island and im pretty sure you can only get fishing xp.

If you succesfully get off of his island, you will recieve (Your Fishing Level)*10 xp in fishing.
