iwontpk
This is my first guide, so please point out any mistakes/suggestions/violations. I will make and add pictures when I'm done. I will also be adding the Guthan's Method another time. Range Only Reccomendations: 75 Range 70 Defense 60 Prayer 70 Hitpoints Equipment and Inventory (pic coming soon) Alternatives: Best>Worst (Yes, Best is a greater choice then the Worst :) ) Helm: Verac's Helm>Helm of Neightiznot>Proselyte Helmet>God Mitre Cape: Ava's Accumulator>No Replacement Amulet: Amulet of Fury>God Stole Ammunition: Addy Bolts>Mith Bolts Note: Bring 510 or less Weapon: Rune Crossbow>Don't waste your time trying :-w Body Armor: Black D'hide Body>Karil's Leathertop Shield: Zamorak Prayerbook>Guthix Prayerbook>Saradomin Prayerbook Leg Armor: Black D'Hide>Karil's Leatherskirt Gloves: Barrow Gloves>[bleep]ed Black Vambraces Boots: Ranger Boots>Snakeskin Boots>White Boots Ring: Archer Ring Inventory: (pic coming) All Potions are 4 dose. 4 Range Potions-To kill faster and use less prayer 1 Bolt Pouch-To take advantage of your variety of ammunition. Have 2 slots with diamond bolts, at least 150 emerald bolts and at least 50 ruby bolts in the other slots. 6 Saradomin Brews-this will be your way of healing 6 Super Restores-To restore stats from Saradomin Brews, 1 dose restores losses from 3 doses of Saradomin Brews as well as restoring 1 more prayer point then a Prayer Potion. 10 Prayer Potions-You will be praying against the 360's as well as the 90's (if there are no 360's). Vearc's Skirt-Range defence and prayer bonus when fighting 90's while praying mage. Alternatives: You can only use 3 Range Potions if you want, and you can replace Prayer Potions with Super Restores, but you should have practice with Jad to do this so you don't waste money. You can also replace one Saradomin Brew with 100-500 Purple Sweets (these heal 3 each, are stackable and also restore 10% of your energy). [hide=Waves] The waves follow a simple pattern. If there are 2 of the same monster they will be replaced with the next strongest monster. Otherwise a 22 will be added. 1-22 2-22,22 3-45 4-45,22 5-45,22,22 6-45,45 7-90 8-90,22 9-90,22,22 10-90,45 11-90,45,22 12-90,45,22,22 13-90,45,45 14-90,90 15-180 16-180,22 17-180,22,22 18-180,45 19-180,45,22 20-180,45,22,22 21-180,45,45 22-180,90 23-180,90,22 24-180,90,22,22 25-180,90,45 26-180,90,45,22 27-180,90,45,22,22 28-180,90,45,45 29-180,90,90 30-180,180 31-360 32-360,22 33-360,22,22 34-360,45 35-360,45,22 36-360,45,22,22 37-360,45,45 38-360,90 39-360,90,22 40-360,90,22,22 41-360,90,45 42-360,90,45,22 43-360,90,45,22,22 44-360,90,45,45 45-360,90,90 46-360,180, 47-360,180,22 48-360,180,22,22 49-360,180,45 50-360,180,45,22 51-360,180,45,22,22 52-360,180,45,45 53-360,180,90 54-360,180,90,22 55-360,180,90,22,22 56-360,180,90,45 57-360,180,90,45,22 58-360,180,90,45,22,22 59-360,180,90,45,45 60-360,180,90,90 61-360,180,180 62-360,360 63 702(Jad)+4 Healers[/hide] [hide=Strategy] Waves 1-6: Kill 22's first, then kill 45's and their level 22 spawns. Wave 7-14: Pray Range. Kill 22's first, then kill 90's and turn off prayer then kill 45's and their level 22 spawns. Put prayer back on at the end of each wave. Waves 15-21: Head to southwest side of the northern rock on the west side (picture coming). Stand at the space north of the skeleton. If the 180 spawns to the west of you, stand against the southern side of the northern rock to be safe. Rapid and Accurate can reach one monster behind the 180, so if any monsters are behind him, kill the closest on first (not the 180). Waves 22-29: Now from where you are go as far north as you can, and always return to this spot at the end of the wave and have Range Prayer on if there is a 90 alive/about to spawn. If anything spawned west of you besides a 180, kill it (on long range if necassary so you don't get too close and the 180 will still be trapped). If the 90 is the most northern monster or directly behind the 180, kill it on rapid. If the 90 is east of the 180 kill any monsters behind the 180 (preferably on long range so there is no way the 90 can reach you, and thus you can turn off prayer) then the 180 then the 90. If the order is 180,22,90 then kill the 22 first then 90 on rapid If for another reason you can't reach the 90 on rapid use long range. If in wave 27 the monster are in a perfect line and you can't reach the 90 on Long Range, kill the 22's first Otherwise kill the 90 on long range. Make sure you can take a dose of Super Restore on Wave 30 without wasting it. Wave 30: Make sure both 180's are trapped (if one spawns east and one doesn't use Melee prayer to move them around) Kill one of them. If you have used a Prayer Potion then you have an empty inventory space (if you don't the empty spot drop that vial  ) Take out all your diamond bolts, wield them and put the addy bolts away and take out your emerald bolts. If you haven't used a prayer potion then drop something, get your diamond bolts wielded, put away the addy bolts and pick the potion up again. Take a doses of Saradomin Brews until you are above full health, and enough doses of Super Restores (hopefully just 1...) to regain your stats. Now have run and autoretaliate on. Drink a dose of Range Potion and kill the 180. If you don't have the emerald bolts out get them out as soon as possible. Wave 31-37: Have Mage Prayer when ever there is a 360 or a 360 is about to spawn. Stand around the middle so you get to the 360 faster. Kill 22's first with addy bolts if you have them out. Next the 360s. Use emerald bolts to poison if you have them out (have screen as close to bottom so you can see or listen for the sound effects) then diamond to kill. Now kill 45's and they're spawns the same way you killed the 22's. Wave 38-45: Kill the 22's first, but if you don't see any (ie: they spawned far away and are making they're way towards you) and a 90 is attacking you go and start attacking it until the 22('s) come towards you. Waves 46-60: Return to the southwest corner of the northern rock on the west side. If a 180 spawns to the west run around the rock to the northeast side. If not run north until you are attacked. Kill anything that can reach you with melee (22's if they are ahead of everything or spawned to the west and 45's if they spawned to the west). If the 90 is behind a 360 use long range. If a 90 is behind a 180 and a 360 (worst-case scenario) you will have to kill the 180 first then the 90, both on long range. After the 90 and 360 are dead, turn off prayer and kill anything else. Wave 61: Turn off auto-retaliate. If any 180's spawn to the west trap them on the west side. If you notice a monster coming from the south towards you on your mini-map, run to the northeast of the rock. Now when he gets north of the south rock run to the middle. Unless the 360 spawned far away and the 180 spawned close you should be able to attack the 360. If not kill the west 180 (you should have started attacking him already before you saw the second 180). When he is dead return to the northwest part of the rock then kill the 360 without getting close enough for the other 180 to kill you. Now kill the other 180. If no 180's spawned to the west then just run north and wait until you are attacked. If the 360 is behind both 180's use long range to kill it, otherwise use rapid. Now kill the 360's Wave 62: Kill one 360 and almost kill the second. Now be more then fully healed with as much prayer as you can without wasting any. Drink a dose of Range Potion if you are more then 3 below your max when potted. Kill the last 360 and make sure you have sound effects, run and auto-retaliate on. Stand somewhere out in the open.[/hide] [hide=Jad]Wave 63: Equip your ruby bolts and put on range prayer. Now there are 2 things that can happen. [hide=You don't see Jad] If you here a sound like retribution put on mage prayer. Now read what to do now that you see Jad. [hide=You see Jad] If Jad hovers his feet in the air for a bit switch to mage prayer. If he doesn't make sure you have range prayer on. Only take 1 dose of potion or attack 1 healer in between attacks. Once the healers come wear Verac's Skirt and turn on Steel Skin if you have 1 Prayer Potion/Super Restore or more left and switch to diamond bolts. Attack each healer once, and move around so that only 1 healer is attacking you. Now proceed to killing Jad, drinking Saradomin Brews as necessary. Basically just keep potting as needed, and Jad will end up dead or you will mess up and have to try again. [/hide][/hide][/hide] Will finish later, my computer has been having problems saving, so feel free to post any advice, suggestions or compliments.[/hide]

Aneron
Fairly good guide, it's a bit short but that's just fine. However, a few corrections... God Stole > Fury: I disagree - I always make it to Jad with 8 or more super restores leftover using a fury, so unless you're very painfully slow the god stole (which gives only prayer bonus) isn't needed. A fury has attack, some prayer, and excellent defense, which is very important Black D'Hide Body > Karil's Leathertop: Well this is more a matter of preference - in my experience the 90s are more consistently dangerous than 180s (who shouldn't attack you unless you mess up) and the 108s. Plus Karil's makes you more likely to survive a missed prayer switch. And it looks better with your other barrows gear. :) Addy Bolts - Bring 510 or less: To the contrary, I recommend 700 or more. Just don't bother with other bolts - that's far too much trouble. I bring about 100 diamond (e) for Jad but that's all that's necessary. Inventory: As I said, 700 addy and 100 diamond bolts are plenty, no need to worry about the other bolts and all the switching around. As for potions, I prefer to just bring 4 range pots, 6 brews, and the rest of my inventory super restores. But the prayer potions method is fine too I guess. Purple sweets are a hideous and unnecessary waste of money btw. So far your wave descriptions look fine, if I remember I'll come back when you're done
iwontpk
k, nice...but for equitment it sayes: zammy pray book>guthin pray... its guthix It's equipment and says, but I'm the person writing a guide so my spelling is a little more important. God Stole > Fury: I disagree - I always make it to Jad with 8 or more super restores leftover using a fury, so unless you're very painfully slow the god stole (which gives only prayer bonus) isn't needed. A fury has attack, some prayer, and excellent defense, which is very important Well I decided you are right the 10 Range Bonus is worth losing 16 minutes (at 62 prayer) of praying. Black D'Hide Body > Karil's Leathertop: Well this is more a matter of preference - in my experience the 90s are more consistently dangerous than 180s (who shouldn't attack you unless you mess up) and the 108s. Smile Well, I used the Black D'Hide so that I wouldn't have to worry about eating as much with the healers, but if enough people suggest this I will change it. Addy Bolts - Bring 510 or less: To the contrary, I recommend 700 or more. Just don't bother with other bolts - that's far too much trouble. As for potions, I prefer to just bring 4 range pots, 6 brews, and the rest of my inventory super restores. But the prayer potions method is fine too I guess. I found the emerald bolts dealed about 15 damage in poison on each 360. If we take away 5 to make up for the fact that they do less damage we still get over 300 damage from poison. I hit a 60 with my ruby bolts, and the diamond just helped kill the 360's faster and Jad. Since you would already use a spot to bring diamond bolts you might as well bring the bolt pouch in the same inventory space. Using the prayerpotions saves about 22k a run, and helps offset the bolt cost. I will be adding a credits section later, with both of you included.
