Metal Drags

Featured Replies

I'm 72 mage and I'd be using either fire bolt without chaos gauntlets (if the gauntlets are a must I suppose I'll do the quest even though I don't really want to...) or I could use wind wave. For outfit/invy I was thinking mystic with farseer helm and the appropriate staff and shield. On the invy I'd take anti fire pots of course and a tele but I need some help here as this would be my first trip. Also I was hoping for steels but if my mage level is too low or something please advise. Also about how much steady profit (without adding in occasional dragon items) could I expect at my mage level per run? Sorry to drag on, but this is all new to me.

The outfit seems good, in you inv take like 2-4 monks or lobs. Natures and fire staff for high alching and a spot for the cash you will get. I would stick with iron dragons at first, since with them you still take a while to kill them.

As for the profit I cant really tell you how much.... just pick up the bloods and high alch runite limbs and other stuff. I think if you do that you will make profit.

Bring about a half-dozen anti-fires, along with a couple of sharks in case of emgergencies, or a couple of monks or w/e. The quest helps make you profit as chaos are much cheaper than deaths. Dont always expect to make a profit without getting a rare drop, but you'll make most of it back with limbs and other rstuff.. You could try starting with Steels and if you feel you're not hitting enough, switch to Irons, but at your level I'd probably stick to irons anyways. Turn the sound on your game on, so you can hear when your pot runs out; the only other way is to take damage. Stand a couple of steps away and attack the dragon.

If you want cash > exp then I'd go with steel dragons. But if your more for exp then go with the irons so you kill more faster.
