Locking my account...

Featured Replies

Since I won't be able to play RuneScape for a little while, I want Jagex to lock my account just in case it gets accessed by someone else. I tried Customer Support, but I received a message saying, "Due to the volume of messages being sent..." Is there any other way of having my account locked without saying that I have had my account accessed by someone else? As I don't want to be seen as a security threat to Jagex.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if it is possible for account to be locked. I believe they only lock account when they suspect that your account is hijacked, but they won't lock on request, but I may be wrong.

Yes, they can lock on request. I know a few people who did it via Customer Support. However, I cannot do that because of everyone spamming up the system because they can't use the Wilderness anymore. <.<

I think the one you've detailed is the only way...
