My situation is this: I really want to aquire a godsword. Any kind, just a godsword. The hilts however are a bit too expensive for me.

 

 

 

So basically I'm wondering if I with my current stats could be able to consistantly solo the zammy GW boss. I see in vids and guides that it can be done, but I'm uncertain of the reliability of the process.

 

I realize that I probably would be limited to 1 kill pr. trip, but would I be able to kill him every time?

 

 

 

If I have to teleport 3 out of 4 tries, or even die, then it would not be worth it I guess. :? Especially since there will be no gravestone blessing.

 

I could of course try to find a team, but then there would be the added frustration of lootshare if a hilt was to finally drop.

Any opinions on this are appreciated. Also if you think another GW boss is easier to solo with these stats.

 

 

 

EDIT: I just read about the "glitch fix" by Jagex. Does this mean I can not solo him at all? It certainly makes some of the tactics in the guides obsolete I would think.

im 107 combat to (87 attack and str 81 def)

 

 

 

I tried soloing him the other day and i couldnt get a kill in the three times i tried. It may be possible with your defence level.

 

 

 

And if your taking him on solo use sharks and brew before you go in.

I don't have much experience in GWD, but I have some experience in killing monsters in general. If you ask me, try it with a partner a few times until you get the hang of it. Then try it yourself.

I really planned this before I read about the glitch update though. It sounded quite manageable before.

 

 

 

Even if I could do it, it would not be as effective as i hoped. My plan was going in some 100 times. I guess I'd die/tele too much for it to be doable.

i used mellee.

 

 

 

I tried a few times i was almost getting a kill with sharks but when i tried with just saradomin brews i did nearly no damage to him.
