CA Internet Security Suite

This internet firewall and anti-spyware program has somewhat messed up my computer. It refuses to uninstall and slows down my whole system making some other programs impossible to run. If anyone has any experience with the removal of this program it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If that does not work then download CCleaner from here...

Install it and update it then run the Issues Scan.

 

It will pick up on all the nasties left behind when programmes are uninstalled. It will give you the chance to make a backup copy of all the gunge in its list. Click yes and put it in my documents just in case it deletes something that you later want.(Never known it myself)

 

Then click Fix selected issues. It explains what each one is, you will probably find some references to the CA antivirus.Click to delete them.

 

 

 

Next click on Cleaner button and scan.

 

Delete everything it finds.

 

 

 

Should get rid of your problem.

 

 

 

If that doesn't work try uninstalling in safe mode.
