I am currently trying for 85 mining and I have 76k left... so I am just wondering how many iron ores do you guys think i can mine and bank in 3-5 hours? Also can someone suggest a good spot closer to the bank than alk-harid?

You can mine and bank around 1k per hour, I suggest mining in the South-west varrock mines, banking in west varrock bank.

The best place to mine and bank iron ore is the little mine located south-east of Varrock. Once you get a full inventory, then you could bank in the ever-famous Varrock East Bank. :D
