I'd agree and say go with a 15' model. I have a 14.4' Toshiba and my dad has a big beefy 17' MSI and I absolutely hate it. It's heavy and chunky. 17' notebooks really take out the portability part of a notebook. You can't really take them anywhere as they drain a lot of battery and are heavy so are uncomfortable to sit on your lap.
