This BSOD screensaver can make for a good laugh if you have the access to install it. It'll be easily exposed if they move the mouse or type a key, but that's easily fixed by unplugging both.

Nice. :P

Best prank ever... On any windows machine, take a screenshot of your desktop. Save it, then set that image as your background. Right click on the desktop, click Arrange Icons by and uncheck Show Desktop Items. Then move the taskbar at the bottom out of view, and walk away.

Watch them double-click on absolutely nothingness.

Friend of mine did that. He also changed all the guys window sounds to various female and male orgasm sounds. (guy was gone for the weekend).

Change the title to good Windows pranks, anyone?

You all know about the very failed help programs from office 2k/Xp, that looked like dogs and paperclips and stuff like that? There's a program that makes so you can make your own, I'll see if I can find it later.

Imagine this:

Clippy: (Very annoying assistant in the form of a paperclip)

"I just thought I'd let you know that you are connected to the internet."

"Your mouse seems to be working properly"

"Your productivity seems to be diminishing. Is everything all right?"

And you can make your own...
