The theory has been around since the 50's, though. That's why Roddenberry used it in Star Trek. It's still considered to be one of the most feasible methods of FTL ability.

 

 

 

I never said we weren't a long ways off (I'd like it to be like Trek in the regards that we do it in 2063) but here's to the future.
