I can't help on providers, but unless you are on a laptop and move around alot, don't get wireless. It's glitchy and disconnections are likely - plus having one extra cable doesn't really do alot.

 

That all depends on the router and the wireless card on the laptop.

 

If the router is a good one and the laptop has a decent card then you'll be fine.
