June 12, 200818 yr Anytime I install Command and Conquer the First Decade I get an error that says, "CRC error, the ra2.mix file does not match the file in the .cab. The file may be corrupted from the medium. Contact your service vendor." This only happens during the installation of Red Alert 2 portion. I have the original stand-alone Red Alert 2, and Yuri's Revenge (Expansion pack), and they work fine when they are installed, but it is much easier to have all the games in one. Has anyone had a similar problem? Do they know how to fix it? Help is greatly appreciated.
June 13, 200818 yr Have you uninstalled all the C&C games you've had before on your PC? It might try to install in the same place as your previous game was installed and therefore give you an error. [Whip drops: 13]
June 13, 200818 yr Author Yes I have done that. Removed any trace of westwood or EA folders from my HD.
