Ok this is my over all goal regarding the lvl 83 cockroach in f2p. Its obvious that this monster is the big "money cow" in f2p. And seeing how I am taking a break from all my runecrafting I was wondering, what would be the best way to use them to cover the cost of prayer? For me anyway prayer is extremly hard to level and I was thinking I could slowly raise def and then just use all the drops to buy big bones because on average i get 30k gp each time i bank so... Should I go all out when fighting these things with the monk robes, rune mace/kite and full helm or just go full rune with a scimmy then when my prayer drained go to the monastary to recharge. so full rune and prayer or full monk etc... so it last longer. These are my stats im using to get the job done 72 hp 70 att 71 str 67 def 48 prayer.

 

also do you think i should use curse will have any effect?

I think your best bet would be to use full rune and rune scim. Dont bother with monk robes.

 

Curse will have some effect because of the roach's monstrous defence.

 

 

 

Then buy the bbones with the money you make.

yep a full rune with a scim will be the best choice...about cursing...well roaches got a very high magic defense it make take you more than 1-2 spells per roach, depending on the food and how much it last you can take up to 3-4 strg pots for a full pack of lobs with you
