It seems you're just doing an outline of his features (looking at hair), not totally sure what the status of that is in the media community, can anyone enlighten me? IMO it's not exactly pixel

That's pretty horrid looking, and you're probably tracing. Try drawing it yourself, and don't use black lines for every outline.
