that occasionally happens to me keep trying to log onto the site if that dosn't work close down the programs incl. task mananger proccesers then try again usually it will start working again. Does this happen after he restarts as well?

I had this prob with firefox I belive its a dns issue.

He hasnt been able to accsess gmail in over a week. Yes he's restarted. I'll tell him to do the ping thingy...

has he tryed using an alternate browser?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If it works with other bowsers then its a problem with his Firefox wich my need to be reinstalled.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also firefox has a "Safe Mode" version in the firefox folder try that, I have some extensions cause trouble for me and running in safe mode eliminated them.
