I have read the guides on several sites on doing this. Can a few people tell me how they did this? Also if you decide your armor is not correct, can you back out of the battle and change? If so where do you start the quest again?

Your best melee armour + mage pray. Bring the best food you possibly can (buy monks, or sharks.), couple of prayer pots and 1 super set. Pot up before the fight, mage pray and just keep going. It's a fairly straightforward fight although at the beginning your prayer will go down so make sure you use a prayer pot early on.

 

 

 

Not quite sure what you mean by "back out", well, of course, you can teleport out of there (use a 1 click teleport like house tab or ectophial). Then you can come back to do the fight. But you shouldn't need to if you use good armour, good food, and super sets.

its an easy fight i used maybe 5 monks max? just mage pray and if i remember correctly bring antipoison ( not sure...)
