gero204
(Its my first guide, so please dont be too bad whit me) -Gero204 revenant guide- Hi, i know some player hate the revenants, so i make a guide to how to prevent a revenant see you, how to escape a revenant, ect... Good reading! note: All what is explain in this guide are observations. Some informations might be false. The revenants: Revenant imp Revenant goblin(4 types) Revenant icefiend Revenant pyrefiend Revenant hogoblin Revenant vampire Revenant werewolf Revenant cyclops Revenant hellhound Revenant demon Revenant ork Revenant dark beast Revenant knight You can get more informations on the revenants on the bestiary section of the tips.it website. The zones Here is a map of the wilderness. I coloried the zone i know where reveant patrol. Red zones are the most dangerous, the most powerful non-member revenants patrols here. The yelow zones are medium zones. The revenants go sometimes to theses zones. The green zones are safespots:revenants dont patrol here. Safespot Here i explain the four safespot i found and how to hide or the avantages : Safespot 1: Chaos temple The chaos temple are a realy good safespot. The bone spawn can up your prayer, and the altar can recharge your prayer. Be warned, some "lava rock" can fall on you. Safespot 2: Bounty hunter When you are up the stairs, youre out of danger. This safespot are useful because of the bank. Safespot 3: Fishing spot The third safespot. To be out of range of the revenants, you have to stept to the north-est of the "island". This safespot is useful because of the Harpon and lobster cage fishing spot. Safespot 4: Lesser demon North of the clan war "battlefield", this safe spot are realy useful if you want to fight whit no revenant. It contain 1 lesser demon who respawn rapidly. Srategies Here is some strategies to escape from a revenant: -Run!The revenant are slow, a running player can escape them easyly. -If a revenant spot you, put the magic protection prayer! The magic attack of the revenants can freeze you and they will melee you if they get to you(Nevrer get meleed by a revenant, exept if you can beat him) -Finaly, you can use the obsacle of the wilderness to stop the revenants. Exemple, i go to a lava river, and quiqly pass to the other side. The revenant dont cross or pass obstacles. NOTE: Revenants pass trough doors! Conclusion So it was my revenant guide. Let me a comment or a modification; i will be happy to respond you :
Theoknight2
this guide is sort of...barren. Revenants freeze with their range attack also. + we also have a revenant guide thats quite good. This guide can become better with improvements.
Y2k949
A few things... It would make the guide much easier to use if you were to fix some of the spelling. If you are not the greatest speller (no offence intended whatsoever) then you can ask someone else to edit, or use the spellchecker in Microsoft Word. It might be a good idea to add some less commonly known methods, such as using Spirit Wolf howl scrolls and the Forinthry bracelet. You should probably mention that revenants can pass through webs as well as being able to use the wilderness portals (if I remember correctly). And finaly: -If a revenant spot you, put the magic protection prayer! The magic attack of the revenants can freeze you and they will melee you if they get to you(Nevrer get meleed by a revenant, exept if you can beat him) It is a good idea to protect from mage, as they can hit quite high, but they also attack with range, and their range attacks are what freeze you. Their mage attacks can also teleblock you, which is why it is a good idea to use a Forinthry bracelet, as this stops them from teleblocking you. Your guide could use a bit more information and a few corrections, but otherwise, great job! =D> The map was very well done, and I must admit that I didn't know about most of those safespots (except for the bank, seeing as it is not actually wilderness). I have seen the truth, and it makes no sense. I should probably change my signature...Meh, tommorrow....
