Dekapatater Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 Just a simple question, i had quit rs for a while and recently came back, and i am confused as to what the term "junk trade" meens, can anyone give me a good idea? gypsyeater Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 One way the term is used is to describe someone that wants to sell an item but not use the grand exchange because the price that is set for that particular item they think is too low. So they add junk items such as summoning pouches to push the trade ammount up. Making the other person pay more money for the item they want. An example of this is 3rd age armor... Its about 50m ish for some of the items in the grand exchange but people think this is too low. So they combine other items in the normal trade to make the value of the trade go up. So in order for the other player to buy the item, they must buy a load of junk that has the value of about 100m along with it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
