July 19, 200818 yr HI I want to gain some smithing lvls without wasting too much money on it, so doing steel plates are sort of out of the question, for the moment at least. Smelting with furnace would obviously make money but is waaaaaaaaaay too boring and time consuming. I have worked out that buying 4000 coal 1000 mith ore and 1000 nats and superheat 1000 mith bars and sell and only lose around 20k cash, assuming prices stay roughly the same. Would this be the fastest way to level without spening too much cash? Thanks "wat if u could ride giraffes"
July 19, 200818 yr not the fastest but is clearly effective, you will get some magic exp and also wont get bored...not that much lol
July 20, 200818 yr In my experience, unless your mining the mith ore, go with steel bars. You gain money from selling the bars and you get more experience per load. Smelting a steel bar gives 17.5 xp while mith gives 30. But you can smelt more steel bars per load. Steel - 9 bars per load (9 iron, 18 coal = 27) 17.5 x 9 = 157.5xp Mith - 5 bars per load (5 mith, 20 coal = 25) 30 x 5 = 150xp Although I do like the idea of adding magic into it, changes the task a bit in between bulks.
