I just got level 55 magic like 10 minutes ago, and now I am trying to get level 66 for the swan song quest. I have been told the best way to get there would be to high alch. I have never alched before so I need some tips. How exactly should I go about lvl 55---->lvl 66 while alching? Should I buy everything? Or just buy nats and make everything else? The highest thing I can smith are steel platelegs (lvl 46).My crafting level is 41 also. I just need some help on how to get 66 the fastest and most cost efficient way. Thank you so much.

If you have the levels and don't mind spending your time, I say make everything, you will make a decent profit from 55-66.
