is there a mage guide to rock lobsters anywhere?

No, but it's really, spectacularly simple.

 

 

 

Use ancient magicks, and bring along runes for as many Ice Bursts (or barrages, if you feel like using the extra cash) as you are planning on casting. Also bring about half an inventory of prayer potions and two rows of high-healing food, preferably sharks or the potato that heals 22s. I like to mage them in Ahrim's, but outfit is your choice.

 

 

 

Once you've gotten to the room where the lobsters reside (I won't go into detail on that, as there are guides on that everywhere), you run out and wake up the first seven lobsters. If you attempt to wake up the eighth, it won't follow you all the way back to the safe spot, so don't bother. Using Protect from Melee the whole time, run back to the corner of the tunnel and wait for the lobsters to catch up, then run back to the ladder. Get two squares back, standing in the square next to the rockpile and the wall. You can also be one step out from the wall if you prefer. Basically just stand there and burst them. Pick up drops, rinse and repeat. Simple.

A couple things-

 

Don't bring food. Instead, bring a stack of a few hundred blood runes and heal with blood burst. Much more effective.

 

You can get up to 9 rock lobsters on you, and they WILL follow- you just need to hug the walls. Don't go any further in any direction than you have to to get the lobsters back, and none will wander off. If you choose to do so, however, you have to deal with wallasalskis attacking you, so many people prefer to do 7.

 

Bring a couple prayer items to wear while luring, it saves prayer pots.

 

Bring a holy wrench if you have one.

how much does 1 trip cost on adverage

Depends on how long you stay (Ahrims degrading) and how many bursts you take.

 

Im guessing prayer pots wont cost you more then 120k.
