beanso
Operating System: Windows Xp Pro Java Version: Latest Version (Not sure) Processor Speed: 3 ghz Amount of RAM: 1gb Internet Browser: Internet Explorer 6 Internet Connection: Cable *********************************** I sent a query a few days ago about some lag I was experiencing. It's a 2-3 second lag that happens every minute or so. When I get the lag, I can't see myself move at all, and can't do any actions, but I can see other characters and npcs moving on the minimap and the main screen. I tried all the alternatives listed on your site, but none had worked. Thank you for your help, Beanso I sent this query to jagex, and they send back the reply : Dear Beanso, Thank you for your message. Download the latest version of the java plugin at http://www.java.com Please make sure you are using internet explorer latest version 6 (or Safari or Mozilla firefox for Mac users and an operating user above 10.4)the link below takes you to the MS Internet Explorer update page. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/ search.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryi d=6 If your current browser does not work, try downloading either Mozilla firefox or internet explorer. To get the latest version of mozzile firefox please visit http://www.mozilla.org/products/ Delete all of your Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and Internet History Files. To do this: Within IE select the tools menu, now select Internet Options and from this window you can delete all the files you need to. Sincerely, Mod Matthew RuneScape Customer Support I tried all those solutions, none of them worked. If you could help me, I'd be most grateful. :) This lag is really annoying. zonda
your computer might just be overheating just turn off your computer and unplug the cable line for a couple hours and it should work better Don't listen to him... your computer isn't overheating I garantee it. I would suggest you try deleting all your cookies again, and delete all your JAVA cache as it is a known problem. If you don't know how to delete your java cache search for it on the T&C board because I know it has been answered many times ...
