well, it is a dell inspiron 4000 runnin xp, 512 ram, 801 mhz. i defragged and deleted trackin cookies, cleaned it up, etc. and it hasnt been doin lately much.. but it just did it about 30 minutes ago. any ideas someone? maybe somethin with a program? i had msn messenger running when it happened.. and thats it

well im not going to disable it bc ill take my laptop places and will need it. but like it almost seems if my comp is lagging or something. its not freezin up when its happenin but like itll start movin to the left and i can move the mouse to the right and after a second or two it will move to the right and vice versa. and i have to pick the mouse up off the pad and sit it back down, to "reset" it. someone please help, its very annoying.

how do i disable the touch pad? o yea, when its moving i can move it with the touchpad, but not the mouse. plus my laptop is docked, so idk if that may have anything to do with it.

it is a laser mouse, and it has something to do with my computer or something. i can unplug my mouse and it will still do it, and yes im using a laptop and i have a touchpad.

umm, i was installin xp on my comp and i partitioned the drive i think, and u can find the stuff but its inactive. it doesnt show up on ur control panel, such as add/remove programs etc. but u can still access it. and just drag and drop i guess

my mouse will all of a sudden vere to the left or the right and sometimes the bottom of my screen, sometimes it will go fast and sometimes it will go slow. someone please help me! gosh its doing it right now! Thanks guys

i think u could plug one end of the ethernet cable into the router, then the other 1 into the ps2.

i unchecked adobe gamma loader, powereg sheculaer and ocraware form start up, directcd is cd drive, and jusched is java. and now i rebooted then i doube click on my internet connection, it wouldnt load i opened task manager and it would jump around to 85% or so
