Signatures and pictures Introduction In chat you may have heard me talking about my "Phase" method and I'm sure if you're reading this now you may want to know what it is. Now, I know everytime someone hears someone's going for 99 construction, they say "Omg noob u dunt have teh muny 2 do it lul!" Weeeell I have a plan. It's not worked out from 54-99 but it's going well so far. "O BUT DUZNT 99 CON COST LIKE 2000 MIL!?!?!? LOL!" No, for me with my method of oak planks making flatpacks I'll only need 90m. I am however going for 100m. I won't have it all at once, however. Just so you understand a bit more of what I'm talking about, here's a tutorial. Tutorial of my plan This plan involves Phases including skill goals. For example, if I wanted 92 woodcutting from my 87 then I would make Woodcutting phase 1 87-90 Woodcutting phase 2 90-92 I have a planned out calculated log myself on how many yews I would need and how much I would get at the current market price. Currently, yews are doing good on the market so that would be good for me. Now that you've seen this tutorial of my setup, lets see what I've been using so far The Methods [*:3u73tdek]Cash= 59m [*:3u73tdek]Raw Monkfish=8.5k out of 8.5k [*:3u73tdek]Law runes= 8.5k out of 10k [*:3u73tdek]Yew logs= 8.5k out of 10kI'll tell you about my goals and phases for each skill right now The Phases I have already started some phases and I won't start phase two of anything unless phase two of everything is done. For example, I won't start fishing phase 2 if woodcutting phase 1 isn't done or started. This is good for organization. Fishing [*:3u73tdek]Fishing phase 1 [*:3u73tdek]Fish monkfish from 81-85 fishing [*:3u73tdek]Fishing phase 2 [*:3u73tdek]Fish monkfish from 85-90 fishing I need 17k monkfish from 85-90 which at the current market price would get me about 6.5m Unfortunately the monkfish price dropped so I didn't sell my 8.5k from phase 1 but once the monkfish price raises more I'll sell them. Woodcutting [*:3u73tdek]Woodcutting phase 1 [*:3u73tdek]Cut yews from 86-90 woodcutting [*:3u73tdek]Woodcutting phase 2 [*:3u73tdek]Cut yews from 90-99 woodcutting Hunter This is my goal right now and it'll involve trapping red chinchompas. Currently 85 hunter. Clue rewards This was from a hellhound from a slayer task. black d hide body, 2 robin hood hats!, guthix platebody, rune dagger Finishing statements and questions Why get 99 construction? I'm getting 99 construction because I think it's a very rewarding skill even though expensive. It's also one of the least common capes. I didn't want to go for a common cape because well everyone sees them. I've only seen about 3 construction capers since the skill capes came out. Won't market price changes get in the way? Yes, and it happened once with the monkfish so instead of selling, I went with another goal before selling them. I'm not going to go in depth because a drop emergency will happen almost overnight so when it happens I'll post an update here. Is this your full plan of getting 99 construction? No, it's not even half of it. Between goals I've been doing my math and reading forums and tips looking for fast and efficient ways to get the money or tips to improve how I'm doing now. When did you first want 99 construction? Only since the first day it came out almost two years ago... I haven't been working on it since, however because I was in doubt of myself getting money for it. At the time I wasn't even a member. It was the skill that made me become a member, though. It was probably the best ever new skill for me and it still is. I don't care if you call it a waste of money because it isn't for me. Whether construction is a waste of money is an opinion. If you want a really nice house and a rewarding cape then go for it, it's not a waste of money then. If you don't want that stuff, it will be. What advice can you give me as a person going for 99 construction? My advice is to watch the market carefully even if you aren't a merchant. Have fun doing what you're doing to get it and have fun. Play for fun, take regular breaks, stay healthy socially, physically, and mentally, and don't spend on things you don't need and don't sell what you do need. Do you accept suggestions from me as a poster in your thread? Well of course. I'm not a master of Runescape and I don't know every secret in the book so I'm always open to suggestions. So you accept signitures that I make?
