I need help getting the Sony Vegas pro 8.0 trial

pressed download hit save. it saves and i pressed run and then allow. and then it says that

 

 

 

there is and error reading the install package

 

the install package is either corrupt or your temporary folder is out of disk space

 

 

 

 

 

... my hard drive has enough room for the trial but I dont know how to acces my temporary folder.

 

 

 

 

 

btw I'm using vista

 

 

 

 

 

If you have a better way to get the trial please feel free to post away

I believe this belongs in Tech & Computers, I reported it so a mod will probably move it soon.

 

 

 

Let's see, I can't imagine that c:\tmp has any limit as to how much stuff you can put in it. Which browser are you using? (Although I don't think that would make much of a difference other than that Firefox 3 anyway uses c:\users\\downloads for storage until the download is done)

P.S: Try cleaning the forementioned c:/tmp folder if using Windows.
