I made a php gd image and hosted it on my server, generally i'd just use one of another site but I wanted to be able to edit it completely to my liking, so I made my own.

 

 

 

Problem is, it won't show on here. In my tests using HTML to display it is fine but here it just outputs the text I put in, like so:

p.s I can't really think of any details to add to this.. if you need the php source, just ask(don't think you should).

Tip.it needs (like most forums) a solid image to link to.

 

The other sites work, by outputting the images then running a update script every so often (replacing the image).

 

It should just be a slight change in the code, then setting cron to run it every x minutes/hours

Posting it in posts is fine, as you've shown but I'm talking about signatures.

 

 

 

When I tried to put in my signature I got a "Could not find the height and width of the image" sort of error. But when I manually added the height and width all I got was the text.

 

 

 

Unfortuantely, I don't actually have access to cron jobs on that server, so I guess I'll have to make do with putting it in posts.

Ah, in that case you defenately need to get tarlvl.php to output the result into a static image such as a gif. Then you can link your sig to that instead.
