does it effect if you say kill 300 monsters in one row or kill 300 monsters in parts (that is disconnecting from the game and continuing later on) ?

 

 

 

I noticed that when I kill say 300 spiritual mages in a row that is without disconnecting I almost always get from 1 to 2 dragon boots....while most of the time if I say kill 500 spiritual mages but splitting it in parts (only disconnecting not going out from the area) I get totally almost nothing at all.

Drops are determined by random number generation.

 

 

 

In a news letter jagex related it to roulette wheels.

 

 

 

The first wheel turns certain numbers give certain drops but then 1 number will cause the second rare wheel to spin.

 

The rare wheel can then land of any of the rare drops or nothing.

 

 

 

The only time staying longer can improve your drops is if in lootshare
