the one with the fire looks good on a black background, but it went abit flat there. i spent half the night on the big one lol, just didn't think it was right...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i'm looking for thoughts on the shading mostly, but anything you have to say is better than nothing lol

The larger one could use some touch-ups:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- His right hand could use some perspective work, and replacing.

 

 

 

-His head is a bit small. Make the hood quite large, and crease it up a bit.

i like the pointy hat, but the fire would also create light...that's what i tried to do, and i think i made that look quite good.

i can make it create more light but if you notice on his arm the bottom is in shadows and the top bright if its daylight the fire wont have much effect on lighting if its meant to be night the robes need to be darkened more and make it normal bright blue color where the fire is

nice, i do like my own shading better, but i might tone down the brightness of my own, and make a dark background to go with it. thanks aldeon, you made me see one thing, he has to fit in his environment aswell. thanks
