forsaken Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 for the landscape itself ( and maybe the water too ) people generally use terragen or bryce, which are 3d programs which can make landscapes basically. Photoshop or paintshop are programs which (in this case) are usually used to touch up or make the picture that you made with bryce or terragen look better. Savior Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 that is as lamens as I can get, unless you hang around here and learn the lingo :wink: terragen- 3d lanscape renderer ( free ) bryce- 3d lanscape renderer, can also be used for abstracts ( $ 80 ) Adobe photoshop , for abstracts , coloring, anything you can imagine thats 2d.. is even possible to do 3d if you have enough skill...
