Okay. Here is the thing. Me and my bud are working our way to level 50-59 for low level BH crater. He apparently can get 40 attack and 99 strength, but I can't get 40 defense and 99 range. Now last time I checked, you level faster with strength, attack, and defense than range and magic. So, I even checked on the Runehq Combat level calculator. It said I' be level 60 with 40 defense and 99 range. I didn't even put in an hp level. I have to reduce one of my stats to a lower level. So which should I do? I plan on becoming a tank ranger, and I need to know if I should lower my range level and not get 99, or lower my defense. I can live without a green dragonhide chest, and I don't know if I'll be able to do the quest, on F2P as a ranger. I won't be able to do much damage with a crossbow, and I can't use a bow unless I want to die..

 

 

 

What should I do?

Stop. Think. You CAN't become a TANK RANGER with 99 range and 40 defence...Tank ranger means 99 range and at least 70 defence. So, don't go to low crater, you can do what I said and get into med. No chance of being takn ranger with -59cb unless you get the magnificent tankness of lvl 37 defence or so.

I have the same thing as you. I am lvl 54 i think with 60 range and 40 defence. Cuz im poor i try to k0 with addy 2h though it never works. Get around 70 range and 65-70 str and range 2h with rune and pot. If u can get the prayer to protect 2h

K.O. with an addy 2h. R2H are only 20k, thats barely anything.

it's impossible to be even 99 range and 1 defence in low crater.

 

Range isn't good to pk with anyway
