August 12, 200817 yr Hey Heres my build: mostly range or mage based build with melee to finish off. atk: 49 str: 99 def: 90 or 63 hp: 99 mage: 99 prayer: 45 or 99 range: 99 this will give you the lvl100 max, nothing else can be put up or you'll reach 101 which by then you'll be in high-crater. My question is to the experienced mid-crater players Which stats would be betta: 90 defence/45 prayer: you'll hardly get hit/when you do get hit it won't be much, but your prayer wont last long, the extra boost from eagle eye, mystic might and ultimate strength wont last long same applies to melee, range and mage protect. or 63 defence/99 prayer: ur defence is decent and can stand a little dmg, but with 99prayer, you can hav eagle eye, mystic might and ultimate strength running for a long fight those extras boost can help alot and if you get into a tough situation, just put on any of the 3 protects, 63def+prayer protect lots of defence. so what yous guys think? please rate Thanks
August 13, 200817 yr Um, well I'd never suggest 99 prayer if you plan to PK in the F2P mid-crater. Personally I'd take 85 attack, 40 defence, and 44 prayer over 49 attack, 99/45 prayer and 63/90 defence. The fights don't even last that long in F2P anyways, and besides the enormous amount of money it would cost to get 99 prayer, it's not worth the extra attack/defence levels lost by doing so. Keep in mind that if you plan to use melee--which you should, since it's the most effective style in the mid-crater--99 prayer is something you shouldn't even be considering. So with that said I actually suggest these stats for you to obtain: 87/70/60 Attack 99 Strength 40/63/76 Defence 99 HP 99 Mage 44 Prayer (Mystic Might isn't really worth the extra prayer level) 99 Range 100 Combat (maxed) Seeing as you might want to have some defence on your pure, I gave you three different attack + defence sets which you might like. The first set: 87 Attack + 40 Defence - this is the standard maxed out rune pure set. You'll be able to hit more often but you will also get hit more often. The second set: 70 Attack + 63 Defence - this set is the most balanced out of the two, as you have an effective attack and defence level. You won't hit as much as you would with set 1, but 63 defence provides you with more protection, meaning that you can have an advantage in most of your fights. The last set: 60 Attack + 76 Defence - this set focuses moreso on defence rather than attack. 60 attack is still quite decent, but you'll find that you won't be getting high hits regularly. Although your defence will provide you with the necessary protection which will allow you to get hit less, pures with high attacks can still rip 25's and 31's on you. August 13, 200817 yr Author oh sorry i meant this for f2p yea ur builds are good im leaning towards the highest defence or highest attack possible at 100max well i used the calculator and with highest attack possible at 100 max was 87 with 41 def instead of 40 lol no biggie but anythin helps and 45 prayer lol once again 1 lvl more no biggie. and with highest defence possible is 90 with 49 attack and 45 prayer. well which 1 would you recommend in mid-crater? Thanks Definitely the first set of stats. I'd rather be able to hit aganst my opponent consistently, rather than inconsistently but with good defence. It's ultimately your choice though. August 13, 200817 yr Author yea well as i see it highest atk, can 1on1 KO fast but if ganged up on can be in trouble highest defence can 1on1 decent and can also hold up againest ppl ganging up on.
August 13, 200817 yr I'd like to mention that it's not all about stats, I'd go to Duel Arena or so to see if you really like PvP. Other than that, I'd prefer attack over defence, since you'd be close to the doors in BH (no reason to go in middle without binds or so) so you'd be safe anyway. It's the trick to ko your opponent whilst he has food (otherwise he runs) not to let him eat all his food. With that said, get 87 attack Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings
August 18, 200817 yr most of the time u fight no armor so att and def dont really matter i still think 40 99 40 would be effective as you can surprise people with like your lvl 70 cb but still hitting 30's. if your using range against people who have armor and just 2h for the ko that should be fine in saying this ive aimed for att: 60/60 str 90/99 def 70/70 hp 82/99 range 75/99 pray 44/52 cb 99 and i do pretty well add me: pk bouwer also i regretted getting 70 def over 60 att cauz training is way faster with 70 att and deffinatly worth it aswell as pking in mem) !!!SwEeT BoMbInG!!!
